Why (Most) Subs Suck
I recently read an article by Baka-Raptor (who we’ll be facing in the four-way aniblog tourney round this Wednesday) about a particular line in the Crunchyroll localization of Madoka Magica’s first episode:
Parallels Between Fate/Zero and Madoka Magica – Urobuchi’s Characters, Ideals and Morality
Weiss Schwarz: Cardfight!! Tournament
Today, March 03 2012, was one of the days of Bushiroad’s organised tournament for two of their money-sapping card games, which include Vanguard, Chaos, Victory Spark and the aforementioned Weiss Schwarz. Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz, being their two biggest earners, naturally got all of the spotlight, with child-pocket-money-sapping Vanguard getting Friday and Sunday, and Weiss Schwarz getting Saturday.
Note: This is a Weiss Schwarz post. It’s unlikely that you’ll find this interesting unless you actually have played the game before.
Setting Mood in Anime
Just last night, I had just finished two episodes of Rinne no Lagrange and was about to go to sleep when I suddenly had this thought – Rinne no Lagrange feels very dissimilar from a lot of anime we have around today. There’s just a certain mood it has about it that differs from everything else. Mouretsu Pirates, as well. They have a certain quality about them that makes them stand out from most of the other offerings these days. Other shows that give me a similar feeling are Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu no Sora~, the ef series and the starting of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
What, then, is it?
12 Hours of Anime (Complete ver.)
*thrashes the old post*

I was supposed to write a “12 hours of anime” on Christmas itself but I spent too much time doing irrelevant things (like drawing the above, playing Sengoku Basara and sleeping) thus, post is postphoned until I get back home from celebrating X’mas. Which should be in approximately 12 hours; perfect for the post eh?
Meanwhile, wishing all a Merry Xmas and if you guys are reading this, please do go out, get a life and stop being a recluse at home.
Post after the page break~
12 Days of Anime: Day 9- Puella Magi Madoka Magica
X Days of Anime – Day A: When should we judge what we watch?
We anibloggers like to do episodics and other kinds of periodical reviews of anime that we watch. In these reviews, we cannot help but give our opinions the content of the show in question after watching it, which basically what a review is. But I ask you: isn’t it pointless for us to start thinking about a show after we have watched it?
300 Milestone Grand Ceremony Anime Awards: Bad side.
We’ve had some unfortunate delays, but here goes part 3 of our Milestone Grand Ceremony.
