R.M.E – Rage Mode Engaged (Itoshi Wo Tome manga review)
If you follow me on Twitter, you might remember a while back i had a really long line of tweets regarding this manga. And the tweets did not consist of very kind words either. I did re-read it though, because I wanted to create a strong standpoint for a review so here are my thoughts, clear of the RME that occurred to me after my first reading of it.

I have noticed that even though my username would suggest that I play eroge all the time, I haven’t had the chance to do so recently. I currently have a growing backlog of at least 20 eroge that I haven’t played/am still playing. But now, I will finally review something that I finished on New Year’s Eve, G-Senjou no Maou.
Why do we relate to fictional characters?

So I was finally getting to the end of Aeka’s route in Yume Miru Kusuri. The above scene happened after Kyoka tries to get her boyfriend to rape her, resulting in a hostage situation , which , sooner or later, led to this scene where they both strangle her at the same time. While I was really, really, happy indeed – truly happy – to see her eyes turn white and see her lose control of her bodily functions, I was sad to find out that she did not die at all. I was confused – how could she have survived? If I was Kouhei I would stab her eyeballs with that knife, or toss her body across the fence and claim she committed suicide, or something along those lines. . .
..and then something else confused me – why do I care so much about a pair of fictional characters?
