If there is a yuri-star , is there a …yaoi-star? Yuri Seijin Naoko-san and the existence of other worlds

(challenge : read this post in the voice of Satomi Arai, a la Naoko’s or Kuroko’s voice acting..)

If it’s anything that was moderately interesting about the less-than-interesting 6 minute OVA, Yuri Seijin Naoko-san, it’s the existence of Naoko-san’s home planet, Yuri Star. A planet where, as the name implies, everyone is lesbian – and female. While this might seem lame and uninteresting to most, to me , this poses an interesting possibility : what does this say about the existence of vastly different universes , beyond our comprehension and ability to locate?

To begin with, a planet full of lesbians wouldn’t exactly be called , well, a planet full of lesbians. Why? Simple – if everyone’s a lesbian, no-one’s taboo or different. (For instance, see the concept of Universality.) No-one on that planet would actually understand the concept behind the ‘human male’, a creature which, to them, is surely a monster beyond their wildest imaginations. Their society and culture would be vastly different. Their reproductive systems, their digestive systems, everything about them could and would differ greatly from the human anatomy. If their society practices the same kind of laws and conventions we do, surely it would be greatly different. A male would be a freak on such a planet.

Coming to Planet Earth would be a new experience for an alien like Naoko-san. Like what we can see, she communicates under a young girl’s skirt, for that’s the only way to communicate to her planet. Even the technology itself is designed for usage by an all-lesbian race. Why her maid costume? No-one knows. But you can see that she doesn’t exactly understand our set of laws, seen by her insistence to snip off any man’s penis she deems belonging to the ‘groper’, who turns out to be an alien as well.

What about the Groper alien then? A race of gropers? What would groping mean on such a planet? A friendly gesture? A means of survival, perhaps? Maybe they gain energy from groping? But he’s clearly taking pictures with his camera, with a trenchcoat akin to the stereotypical gropers of Earth. For such a vastly different race, why would their conventions and taboos be the same as ours.

The question should be, why can’t they be the same?

Here’s the question: how do you know such a planet /star like Yuri Star doesn’t exist?

How do you know whether there aren’t humanoid lesbian races hiding on some small corner of the universe somewhere? Perhaps they’re not accessible through Wormhole 1, or Wormhole 2, but when they finally get to Wormhole number 15672, they find this planet. How do you know whether they exist, but their existence just isn’t accepted yet? We even have another show about aliens this season, Level E, which applies a similar concept to extraterrestrials.

How do you know whether or not there are humans living light years away from Earth, unaware that although we call ourselves differently, we’re the same race? How do you know what lies beyond our technology, what lies beyond our ability to see and what lies beyond our wildest imaginations? I hope that , just like Naoko-san’s ability to adapt to Earth’s males and society, that if we ever find new universes and scientific concepts that our current science simply doesn’t accept, we can adapt and change just as quickly.

Who’s to say that such universes don’t exist?

No-one can prove they exist, but hey, I can dream, can’t I?

I can dream, all right.

SO MANY SCARY POSSIBILTIES

No one has as of yet find prove of another universe’s existence, but no one can even find proof that it does not exist.

lol. Reminded me of a module I studied before called “the search for life on other world”. I think we are not matured enough to meet any alien yet. But Yuri star will be indeed interesting. XD

that was… entertaining… I’d probably take my chances with a squid invasion than lesbian aliens though.

I bet the guys in that planet died before women could even step to that world…
Wait, how do they populate? Migration?

I can’t believe this anime slipped under my radar, it sounds interesting to say the least. Looks like I have another one to add to my list of things to watch.
